Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Porsy processes when you use the app to estimate and track nutrition from meal photos.

Information you provide

• Account information, such as your email address or social sign-in identifier.
• Profile and goal information, including age, height, weight, target weight, and target date.
• Meal photos and the nutrition entries created from them.
• Subscription product, transaction, status, and renewal-period identifiers supplied by Apple.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate your account, analyze meal photos, estimate calories and macronutrients, show your history and progress, secure the service, and respond to support or privacy requests. Porsy does not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

Photo and AI processing

A selected photo is uploaded at its original quality for analysis. It is sent to an AI service to identify food and estimate nutrition. After analysis, Porsy replaces the uploaded image with an optimized copy for your meal history. AI results are estimates and may be inaccurate.

Service providers

Porsy uses Supabase for authentication, database, server functions, and photo storage; OpenAI for meal-photo analysis; and Amazon Web Services for this website. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their services and under their own privacy and security terms.

Subscriptions and payments

Apple processes App Store purchases and payment details. Porsy does not receive your full payment-card information. We receive and retain purchase identifiers, product, subscription status, and renewal dates needed to verify Porsy Plus access, prevent purchase misuse, restore access, and respond to refunds or revocations.

Retention and security

Account, profile, meal, optimized photo, and subscription-status data is retained while your account is active or as needed to operate and protect the service. Limited transaction records may be retained as required for fraud prevention, accounting, dispute handling, or legal compliance. We use access controls, encrypted network connections, and per-user database and storage policies. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can stop providing new photos, sign out, or permanently delete your account and its profile, meal history, and stored photos directly from the Profile tab in the app. Deleting your Porsy account does not cancel an App Store subscription; manage or cancel it in your Apple account subscription settings. You can contact us to access or correct your data. Legal retention requirements may apply to limited records.

Children

Porsy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as Porsy changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to privacy@yedim.net.
